Description
In the case of Poseidon, lead inserts are integrated into the core over one third of its total length which makes it easier to drag the anchor horizontally. Its retention power is enhanced, and the rope becomes easier to lift aboard.
Poseidon is delivered in a bag with a spliced-in stainless steel thimble. A high quality Polyester cover made out of a 16-plait weave as well as an intermediate cover also consisting of Polyester keep the lead inserts from slipping out from the rope. A polyurethane coating creates additional protection over the insert.
