Description
Dyneema SK78 Whipping Twine is a high-strength finishing cord designed for sealing rope ends, lock stitching, and decorative or functional whipping on all kinds of rope work. The material is braided SK78 fibre, which offers outstanding tensile strength and abrasion resistance while remaining slim and easy to handle. With a diameter of about 1 mm, this twine gives excellent break loads relative to its size and does not require waxing for good performance.
The smooth surface of this whipping twine allows neat wrapping and secure binding without excessive bulk. It is available in several colours including white, blue, red and black, making it easy to match or contrast with the ropes in use. Lengths are typically around 50 metres per reel, giving plenty of material for multiple uses.
