Description
Dyneema Soft Shackles are lightweight, high-strength alternatives to traditional metal shackles, designed for sailors who demand strength, safety and minimal weight. Constructed from Dyneema SK78 or equivalent HMPE, these soft shackles feature a hollow braid loop that delivers exceptional strength with very low weight. Their flexible form conforms to load paths and minimises wear on fittings and rope surfaces.
Completely corrosion-free, they resist UV degradation and will not damage deck hardware or fittings. Soft shackles float, are easy to handle when wet, and can be opened or closed even while wearing gloves. Available in multiple diameters ranging from approximately 4 mm to 12 mm, each size offers impressive breaking loads, from around 2,300 kg up to over 13,000 kg.
