Description
Poseidon is a lead anchor rope built to meet the highest demands in anchoring applications. Lead inserts are integrated into the core over about one quarter of the rope’s total length. This design helps the anchor drag horizontally more effectively, improves retention on the seabed, and makes retrieval easier.
The rope features a 16-plait polyester outer cover and an intermediate polyester sheath, both of which keep the lead inserts secure and provide excellent resistance to abrasion. A polyurethane coating adds extra protection over the length containing lead, extending service life in harsh marine conditions.
Poseidon is supplied in a bag and fitted with a spliced stainless steel thimble for secure attachment. Available in diameters of 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm and 16 mm, this rope delivers dependable strength, consistent handling and lasting performance for demanding anchoring work.
