Description
The Running Backstay Sheet is a specialist high-performance line developed for running backstay applications on modern race boats. It combines cutting-edge materials with precision construction to deliver exceptional strength, control and durability under extreme dynamic loads.
At its core, a Dyneema® STS or SK99 coated fibre provides outstanding strength-to-weight ratio, minimal stretch and reliable load stability. Surrounding this is a 32-plait 100% PBO cover, chosen for its superior heat resistance, abrasion protection and friction control. The cover is specifically optimised for use with ceramic winch drums, ensuring consistent grip and smooth operation even under high load and frequent adjustment.
Available in diameters of 9 mm and 11.5 mm, the Running Backstay Sheet offers precise handling and dependable performance where control and consistency are critical. It is a custom-manufactured product made to specific requirements, with pricing available on request according to diameter, configuration and core selection.
