Description
The Sta-Lok 7-Strand Wedge is a stainless steel replacement component designed specifically for Sta-Lok Self-Fit Terminals when used with 7×7 or 7×19 stainless steel wire rope. It must be replaced when re-using terminals to maintain termination strength and integrity. The wedge is laser marked for easy size identification and correct matching to the wire construction.
Suitable for wire diameters from 3 mm up to 26 mm, the wedge fits standard 7-strand wire types and provides the correct shape and surface needed for a secure, reusable termination. It must not be used with Dyform or compacted strand wire ropes. Manufactured from marine-grade stainless steel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and strength, suitable for constant and shock loading environments.
The Sta-Lok 7-Strand Wedge enables riggers and sailors to maintain or renew terminations with confidence. It ensures the overall termination is stronger than the wire rope itself and is essential for safe, reliable wire rigging wherever 7-strand wires are used.
