Description
The Sta-Lok Dyform & Compacted Wedges are precision-engineered replacement components for Sta-Lok Self-Fit Terminals, designed specifically for use with compacted strand and legacy Dyform stainless steel wire ropes. These advanced wire constructions provide higher breaking loads and reduced stretch compared to standard 1×19, requiring dedicated wedges to ensure secure and reliable terminations.
Suitable for a variety of wire constructions including 1×7, 1×19, 1×25, 1×31 and 1×36, these wedges help Sta-Lok terminals maintain strength greater than the rated breaking load of the wire rope. Each wedge is laser-marked for clear identification, ensuring the correct match for the specific wire type and size.
Certain diameters such as 4 mm, 5 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm are compatible with both Dyform and compacted strand wires, while other sizes remain construction-specific. Durable and reusable, only the wedge requires replacement during re-fitting, offering a cost-effective and dependable solution for yacht rigging and industrial use.
