Description
The Sta-Lok Fork is a robust, reusable Self-Fit terminal designed as an alternative to machine swaging, offering strength, reliability and ease of installation. Constructed from marine-grade 316 stainless steel, it is proven to be stronger than the wire rope when fitted correctly.
It is supplied as standard for 1×19 wire rope, with separate wedges available for 7×7, 7×19 and compacted strand constructions. The Fork is suitable for both right-hand and left-hand lay wire ropes, ranging from 3 mm up to 26 mm (1⁄8″ to 1″). Because no pre-measurement is needed and only basic hand tools are required, it is ideal for on-site or onboard assembly.
Sta-Lok Forks work reliably under constant load and moderate shock loading, making them excellent for standing rigging on yachts, architectural tension systems or industrial supports. With laser-marked wedges for correct matching, and reusable terminal bodies, the Sta-Lok Fork is a durable, dependable solution where secure wire terminations are required.
