Description
The Sta-Lok Stemball is a premium self-fit terminal designed to provide a reliable, reusable alternative to traditional swage fittings. Machined from high-grade 316 stainless steel, it delivers durable performance even in harsh marine environments. It supports both right-hand and left-hand lay wire rope, and is typically supplied ready for 1×19 strand wire, with interchangeable wedges for 7-strand or compacted strand wire types.
One of its key advantages is ease of installation: no pre-measuring is required, and only basic hand tools are needed. The fitting is rated to be stronger than the wire rope itself when properly terminated. The Stemball performs under both constant and variable loads, making it suitable for demanding rigging applications.
Each unit is a two-part assembly, with threadlock recommended for long-term security. For installations requiring a larger head size, Stemball Cups may be fitted as needed. A high-performance, versatile terminal for marine and architectural use.
