Description
The Wichard HR Snap Shackle with Swivel Eye is a premium, high-performance stainless steel shackle designed for demanding sailing and rigging applications. Manufactured from HR grade 17.4 PH stainless steel, it is forged for exceptional strength, fatigue resistance, and corrosion protection. The swivel eye at the top allows full rotation, reducing twist and chafe in lines, sails, or fittings. The plunger pin is captured in the hook, preventing accidental loss, and can be opened easily by pulling, with the option to attach a lanyard for remote release if required.
Available in a range of sizes from approximately 70 mm to 120 mm, the shackle provides working loads from around 960 kg to 2800 kg and breaking loads up to 7000 kg. Each piece is highly polished and precisely engineered for reliability, ease of use, and long service life in harsh marine environments.
