Description
The Wichard Snap Shackle with Large Bail and Swivel Eye is a high-performance stainless steel connector designed for demanding sail and rigging applications. Manufactured from HR grade 17.4 PH stainless steel, it offers excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and longevity in harsh marine conditions. The combination of a large bail and a swivel eye lets you accommodate multiple lines, thick fittings, or blocks while allowing full rotational movement to minimise twist and chafe.
Its snap-action mechanism enables fast, reliable release under load. A captive plunger pin ensures it remains attached when open, reducing the risk of pin loss during operation.
