Description
The 7×7 stainless steel wire rope is a versatile, flexible construction designed for applications where the rope must bend around corners and angles. Manufactured from premium 316 marine grade stainless steel to 1.4401, it is globally recognised for its superior corrosion resistance and durability, especially in harsh marine environments.
This construction balances strength with flexibility, making it ideal for running load applications and scenarios where movement or curvature is required. Common uses include security cables, winch cables, guardrails, and balustrading where a balance of pliability and reliability is essential. While the 7×7 wire rope is not as strong as the 1×19 construction, its added flexibility makes it better suited for dynamic or curved installations.
Please contact Ropes & Wire for any standing rigging, architectural, or balustrading requirements.
