Description
Dinghy Polytech is a high-spec control rope built for skiffs, dinghies and performance sailing applications. Its core is made from Dyneema SK78, which delivers excellent strength and very low stretch under load for responsive control in sheets and halyards. The cover combines polyester and Technora in a 16-plait braid, offering high abrasion resistance and a tactile feel that works well in demanding conditions.
This rope is easy to splice and taper, thanks to the balanced cover-to-core construction. It is available in at least 4-mm and 5-mm diameters, each colour coded for quick identification, and is suited to crossover roles where both control and handling matter. Dinghy Polytech performs well as a halyard, vang, outhaul or any line that needs dependable performance without excessive bulk.
