Description
Dinghy Star Pro is a premium rope built for fast skiff and dinghy classes where abrasion resistance and minimal stretch are non-negotiable. Its core is made from Dyneema SK99 fibre, providing very high breaking strength and negligible elongation under load. The cover combines PBO and Dyneema to deliver outstanding durability even under heavy friction, whilst offering grip and control essential for performance sailing.
Available in diameters of 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm and 6 mm, Dinghy Star Pro offers a range of breaking loads: approximately 400 daN at 3 mm, 800 daN at 4 mm, 1 300 daN at 5 mm, and 1 900 daN at 6 mm. Weight per metre increases with diameter but remains light for its strength class. Its construction makes it spliceable and dependable in halyards, pole launch systems, rig tensioning or any line exposed to aggressive wear.
