Description
Floating Security Line is a buoyant safety rope designed for rescue, marking, and safety use on water. It is made from 100 % polypropylene or XLF material in a hollow or 16-plait weave, providing superb floating characteristics and reliable performance when wet. The rope does not absorb water, keeping it light and easy to handle even after repeated exposure to waves or spray.
Its bright, high-visibility colours—often signal yellow with red or orange contrast—make it easy to spot in low light or turbulent water. The soft, supple weave resists kinking and allows for clean splicing, enabling secure eyes or attachments. It is available in diameters of around 8 mm and 10 mm with suitable breaking loads for safety lines, rescue haulers, or painter lines.
Floating Security Line is ideal for man overboard equipment, lifebuoy rings, throw lines, swim zone boundaries, or any application requiring a rope that floats reliably, is visible, and performs under stress.
