Description
Newport 8 is a robust and reliable mooring line built for everyday use and demanding dockside conditions. It features an 8-plait polyester single-braid construction, offering strong resistance to abrasion, good handling and excellent spliceability. When stowed, it occupies around half the volume of conventional braided or laid ropes, making it more space efficient aboard.
Available in diameters of 12 mm, 14 mm and 16 mm, Newport 8 provides suitably graded strength for a range of vessel sizes and mooring requirements. Its core and cover of durable polyester resist UV exposure, moisture and general wear. The rope is suitable for use as a mooring line, anchor warp or towing line.
