Description
Rapallo Boltrope is a laid 3-strand polyester rope developed specifically for use as a luff line or bolt rope in sailmaking. It combines high elasticity with durable physical properties to meet the demands placed on sail edges inserted into mast foils or grooves.
Made from robust polyester, it delivers controlled stretch to absorb movement and load changes, while resisting UV exposure and abrasion typical at the sail’s luff point. Available in diameters of 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm, Rapallo Boltrope offers dependable breaking loads ranging from approximately 750 daN to 2,700 daN. The corresponding weights per metre progress from 24 g for 6 mm up to 94 g for 12 mm.
White in colour, it is ideal for traditional sail edges and bolt rope installations where flexibility, strength and ease of handling are essential.
